Secure the Telephone

I have had someone ask how to lock there telephone so no one can use it in an open area. I have read how to secure telephone but am unsure of how to do it. When I ran up FFC codes, there doen't appear to be one on our system.
Phone = M3904
PABX = Meridian 81c

See if you have the pckage that allows auth codes. Can't remember the package number but someone on the forum will supply that info for you. With this you can lock the phone down to local pbx extensions unless you put in an auth code.

I have used auth codes in past, but this is particular Doctors specialist area where they work daily and just want to lock phones when they are not there. I don't want to give them Auth codes as they make quite an amount of outgoing calls each day

I have tried Electronic Lock and set up FFC, but when enter the password, it dosen't like it

Don't worry, persitance worked. Now all okay

why don't you change the NCOS based on time of day? Restrict the phone via NCOS between 6:00PM and 9:00AM, for example.

that's what I was thinking tcom.....that is a better way to do it, unless the dr's stay over the time limit.

Thanks guys, didn't think of that.

Will leave with code for them to activate/deactivate as these Doctors as mentioned are specialists and are often not consulting and work overtime. Also a number of them share with other Doctors who are there on odd days. Bottom line is, the hours are inconsistent from week to week.
