Hi, I am unable to login to secure sites anymore.
I went and fixed it yesterday by performing some tasks from checklist I found on Internet. This morning it happened again. I suppose I should not perform 10 steps fix every day. At least I am not looking forward doing it.

I have brand new PC with Synmantec Virus Protection installed. It has firewalls (never before). So if you have suggestion - please, tell.

Thanks

I found article and fixed it but next day it happened again.

Yes, I shut down firewalls and it works now but is this only solution? I would like to be protected and have email access. No way?
Thanks a lot

Now you know that the Symantec software is the culprit, try seeing if there are any options in it to enable / disable access to secure sites.

I imagine that when you purchased the PC, you would have been given details of a technical support line. Have you tried ringing them?

Hope this helps,
Dan

I am pretty sure all Symantecs are the same, right?
So people are looking for the fix for a while now.
If ringing them would help - someone would have done it.
So I can disable/enable firewalls using HP Organizer that automatically starts boring h**ll out of me but it IS a way.
I have to figure out how to go with email checking now, before it is on, during or after...

Thanks for talking to me.

Misunderstood, sorry.
I tried to avoid lenghty explanation of my calling experience. People read from the same list I posted (sounds like it). It didn't bring me anything nor to anyone else so far according to Internet forums posts. I had been reading a lot on this issue. So many people are frustrated with it but no perm fix.

I am turning firewalls on and off and trying to avoid using PC at home :(
