Need a solution for secure remote batch printing from a data-centre to an external network to SSL/TLS standard....
Host environment is Citrix, so users may not be online when the batch print job needs to be spooled to printer, which will be located in the external network...
So far, discussd using IPSec VPN from data-centre to external print spooler, to allow the print jobs to be sent encrypted...
Anyone got any better alternatives, the ideal would be NOT to deploy any hardware to the external network
Is Internet Printing Protocol an option if we put a CA on the spooler to encrypt traffic to HTTPs
