How to secure a pdf document so that viewer can only view the pdf but not able to print or change anything in pdf?

Create pdf and then Open in Acrobat Pro. Go to File Menu/Document Properties. In next window click on Security.

Select Password Security from Security Method drop down menu. In next window click the Permissions checkbox, create a password and select the permissions you wish to give the recipient.

Using OSX 10.3.9 & 10.4.11 on a G4, G5 & Intel Macbook
