Hi,

We will soon be removing a system which used to host sensitive data and we need a method of ensuring the data cannot be recovered once we have deleted the filesystems.
The disks in question are a number of SSA 4.5 and 9.1 Gb disks

Hi,

If you go to and search on SA33-3285-02 you will get one hit, click on the related information link to open the manual then search for the ssa_format command. This is what we have used to format our old SSA disk before getting rid of them.

Hope this helps.
