Does anyone know how to setup your HMC remote client software to authenticate securely with multiple HMCs? I've tried cating the multiple SM.pubkr files together but this doesn't work.

If i understand the question, I think all you have to do is to add the second Managed Server on the remote client software (WebSM) then enter the password when you are asked for.

Not quite. We have 3 HMC's which 5 people connect to from their windoze desktops. I'd like to be able to get a secure connection to each hmc indivually. Different way, same goal. Just wondered if it was possible to do it this way...

Do you mean that you have 5 people accessing the WebSM GUI from their Windows desktop?

Ok, ssh hscroot@your_hmc_name

I hope this what you need!

Khalid

So long as you've enable ssh and setup the keys on the HMC

I want to be able to get my PC websm client GUI to securely connect to two seperate HMC's. IE, connect to hmc1, disconnect & then connect to hmc2. I've tried catting together the 2 SM.pubkr files from each hmc, but this doesn't work.
