I have 2 HD 3.2Go SamSUNG on master and other slave, my pc is 233MMX Intel.
i have both RedHat6.2 Mandrake7.2 and win98 on theme, the last week the slave HD can not be accessible, when using fdisk (win and linux) it say : partition 0 corrupted !

One freind tell me that i can copy the Master Boot Record from the good one to the lost one and i will repaire my HD.

Is this possible, and who i can do it ?
thanks for all !

Hi,

Sounds like a partition table error or actual corruption within the first partition rather than the MBR. Download ftp://ftp.powerquest.com/pub/utilities/partinfo.exe and see what that says (run from windows / dos)
