I programmed a secretary key on a 5340 IP and it does not light up when the extension (an IP set)I programmed is offhook. I can press the key and it rings the extension.
What's strange is that I also programmed an analog set on the same 5340 IP and it works fine. The busty light does not work when it's an IP set programmed as a Secretary key. Any ideas would be helpful.

Best bet is that you have a multicall key programmed against the prime line of the set AND the system option BLF - Busy Indication Based on Set Enabled is set to NO.

I called Mitel support and they told me tghe same thing. Problem solved. I wish this would have been in the documentation as a condition of using Multicall or a dss/blf key. But that would be too much to ask.
Thanks for the help though.
