HI.

I am using a Nokia IP71 and Small Office 25 user Checkpoint 4.1. I have got over the licensing issues and created a basic rules base. What I can not do is get the SecuRemote client access to the network correctly.

The symptom is that they are authorised and topology download done. But they are blocked trying to access the servers. My thougths were that this may be due to a missing rule, If I allow any, any, any etc it works. I have no spoofing setup on the external interfaces. If i use a client over the Internet with a static IP address assigned by the ISP and create a rule for SecuRemote users and an explicit rule for the IP address of the host it works.

Any ideas would be most welcome.

Thanks in advance

Have you checked the log files. You will be able to see the incoming connection to the server being blocked and you should be able to see the rule that it blocking it.

Chris.
