Secondary site deinstall - also delete the SMSLOGON??

Hi,

I am just in the process of trying to remove a secondary site (the server failed but the tech. doing the restore changed the server name and also tried restoring some of the stuff!).
Anyway I am going through manually deleting stuff per the MS article q234484 but have one quick question. It mentions that the "SMSLOGON" share and also the "SMS_NT_LOGON_DISCOVERY_AGENT" service should be deleted. However is this required as we have logon discovery enabled so wouldn’t they get created on this BDC anyway and shouldn’t it be here?

Also with regard to removing WBEM is this a good idea - its an NT4 machine but could anything else be using it?
