We have a disaster recovery site with a passive secondary firewall. The engineer who set it up split the Checkpoint roles between two servers. Server 1 has SVN Foundation, Firewall-1 and VPN-1 Pro. Server 2 has Log Server and Secondary Management Station. Server 2 died and I would like to put the two Server 2 roles on Server 1. I checked the Log Server box on Server 1, no problem. I checked Secondary Management Station on Server 1 and here is the error I get...."This node uses Secure Internal Communication(SIC). In order to define this node as a Secondary Management Server, you will need Reset SIC." I reset the SIC in Checkpoint Config and in the object in the firewall. I am resetting successfully but it won't allow me to make it a secondary management server. What am I missing? Thanks in advance.
