Secondary Hard Disk Fault

Hi all,

After installing a second hard disk on Windows 2000, it randomly sees this disk as a network drive and is unusable. I know that this isn't a hardware failure as the disk is working ok.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you been into disk management (run diskmgmt.msc) to partition & format disk (and write a signature on it)?
