I have 5 zones 4 of which work fine. When I try to add the 5th zone it allows me to add it but when I click on it I get the following message. I have made that allow zone transfer is checked under the zone transfer tab. All entries in here are static and there are no dymanic updates so I tried both and neither one works. When
I check the properties on SOA for the seconday DNS server there is no data available. I'm going to try blowing away the primary and recreating it and then add the seconday zone but any other assistance would be appreciated. thanks.

The dns server encountered a problem while attempting to load the zone. The transfer of the zone data from the master server failed.

any routers or firewalls in between or anything? and if so, is port 53 TCP AND UDP allowed?
