Secondary DNS and Group Policy

I was wondering if anyone had any issues setting up a secondary DNS Server for domain clients through GP on Windows Server 03 and AD. Basically I want to add the backup DNS to each client but for some reason it will not show up. I checked the gpresult on each client and I can see the policy beeing processed but the second entry is not populated. LAN settings are setup manually (static IP).
Any suggestion will help.

How are you trying to add it with a GPO? Why note just assign it in the DHCP pool?

These clients are using static IPs. All computers are part of a OU and filtered by a security group. It is weird because other settings from the same policy applies with no problem.
I entered the DNS servers separated by spaces as indicated by Microsoft KB.
