The cards I have plugged in to the secondary bus on my Proliant 1600 are recognized by the device manager but will not start. I have an external case plugged into the external SCSI connector (which I assume is on the secondary buss also) in which are 2 CD drives; they run just fine.
I can't find much information on buses, other than balancing, on the Compaq site. I must be missing a basic premise here, and I admit I am ignorant, but learning about Proliant. I run Win2K on this machine with 1 400PII, at the moment. Thanks for any suggestions.
