We are using ArcServeIT 6.6 on an NT platform for both LAN & WAN backups. Our tape drive is the 15/30 DLT. Each time that I backup one of our primary servers, (Friday full backup) it requires that I insert a second tape. And each time the backup fails and the job is cancelled. I've checked the setup, and all is set to overwrite. I've manually formated the tapes, named both tapes the same & even tried nameing them differently. The backup works fine until the second tape is inserted. Anyone have an idea as to what is wrong?

I found my own answer. A registry hack solved it all.....

And what is this hack.....I have a similar problem,it might help..........

I found the Regestry hack on the CA website. <br>
follow the following links and you should be fine.<br>
Two different hacks required:<br>
<br>
Server(s): <A HREF=" TARGET="_new"><br>
Client(s):<br>
<A HREF=" TARGET="_new"><br>
NOTE: The server paths they list for the hack were not the same as I saw. Was still easy to figure out.
