Have one SBS with IP 192.168.x.x in a workgroup environment which is incorrectly setup. Server is acting as a file server in a workgroup.
Can i now setup the correct SBS with different IP 192.168.16.x. and do the proper setup.
There is an active SQL database on the orginal server.

There's no reason to wait. SBS's DHCP will hand out IP addresses to any client on the network asking for one. Whether they are wireless, wired, domain members or not.

Guys have a look at this thread1584-1347226 called "domain problems"
Isn't that exactly what i will experience having DHCP on a router and then disabling it and changing it to SBS

No.

DHCP on an SBS box will work fine, as long as it's correctly configured. And, if you let the wizard configure it when the box was first built, you should be fine. Just verify the gateway is correct.

The problems that are described in that thread are due to having a router on the LAN side which is not a correct configuration.

If you did have DHCP enabled on a router first though, you need to follow the steps outlined at the bottom of which describe how to re-establish the DHCP service on your SBS.

I forgot to tell you guys that the router is also a wireless router, so DHCP on router is giving out IP addresses to WiFi devices. Will this cause a problem if i disable DHCP on router and activate it on SBS

No. The wireless devices will broadcast their requests for a DHCP lease and the wireless router will forward that request to the server for fulfillment. No problem at all.
