CHESE is supposed to be used between an executive and their secretary, and allows for a backup to the secretary for breaks, etc. It is all about whether the executive wants to take his calls or have them automatically go to the secretary, and where they go if not answered. It's not really designed for "multi-ring", but you could use a parallel hunt group (ONS) for that, which you already seem to be aware of. CHESE requires special station attributes in SDAT, and also has certain buttons that are required to be on the phone for it to work.

CHESE is not supported in the US, but I am using it anyway for the CEO and his secretary. It takes a bit to wrap your head around it.

Hello

Thank you for your answer.
Unfortunately, as I wrote in my HiPath 4000 V3.0 CHESE group and ONS group can not be run simultaneously (sw lock).
That is why I am looking for a solution.

I mean about the other phone, which is state itself eg. on the coffee table.
Customer wont to have the same number (in other systems are such features).

I'm sorry - I was trying to say a CHESE group is probably not appropriate for what you asked.

Are you in the US? Outside the US from what I am told they do not use the key system parameters. In the US "we" use the keysystem parameters and it is possible to have more than one LINE key on a phone. The first one becomes your prime line (the phone's extension) and then the second line key can be programmed as an appearance of the other line you want to ring on the phone. You can set it to ring or not ring, and set the phone to automatically answer the ringing line when you pick up the phone. Otherwise, if I understand you correctly, it is not possible to have 2 digital/IP phones that have the same extension as their primary line. For analog you can have a whole string of phones on the same line, but not IP/Digital. It's kind of like a cell phone. The carrier can only put one serial number into their system for each phone. Many do have a feature called multi-ring that can ring 2 different numbers at the same time when one is called, but there are never 2 phones with the same number.

If you forget about CHESE you can probably use ONS otherwise.

Hello

Thanks for the answer.
Indeed I was thinking about key system as solution... but
Today the customer approved the current solution and it's OK.
