Hi
We have a MAC with 2 NICS. One is for the Win2000 n/w, and the other one is for a peer to peer MAC network. After a system reload we are unsure how to configure the second NIC for the Mac to Mac peer n/w.
Though the second NIC is in the machine (and we know it used to work), we cannot find it reported in the machine, and so cannot administer it (change it's IP or anyhting.)
Can you tell me how ot enable it so it appears in the adaptor list, and hence make it availble to configure?
Thanks
Harry

Due to the fact you can only have Apple talk running on one network card to my knowledge, when you go to chooser\Appleshare click the Server IP Address button and enter the IP address of the other machine. Then enter user name and password.

If you can't fix it in 20 minutes call someone who can.

Thanks ecaboodle
We phoned some-one who knew, and discovered we had the wrong drivers. After we loaded the right drivers it was simply a matter of assiging an IP address and off we went
thanks
Harry
