Second IE Window comes up w/www.888.com 1

Have a PC that keeps coming up with a second IE window (full) that loads either "smileyface.com" or the above casino window. Have cleaned out Temp and Temp Int, run Spy Hunter and Ad Aware (Aw has the updates). To no avail... HELP!

Well, I did EVERYTHING! In sequence. Even downloaded and ran Pest Patrol and HiJack. I still get the second IE window loading with either

http://www.888.com

or

http://www.smileyface.com

and one other I believe. I am at wits end!

The 2nd window only loads once after boot-up but it's still annoying.

I can imagine your frustration. Try the folks in a different forum: forum760

smileyface I have seen before, but 888 is a new one to me. If I learn anything usefull I will respond in forum760

I just get unspeakably angry about the amount of adware, malware and spam floating about.

faq608-4650 was one small attempt to fight back. I am sorry it did not fit the bill in your case, but the forum I linked above has some incredible people willing to wrestle your 888 and smileyfaces to the ground.
