After adding a second domain server to the network and implementing Active Directory, replication to that server will not occur. DNS is set up on the main server and the second server is listed in the DNS, but it still will not replicate to the second server. Forced replication creates an error. How can I get replication to the second server to work correctly?

Thank You,

You might want to include some error messages. Also check your event viewer for errors.

what kind of error message?
in any case try to use Check Replication Topology option.
verify that there is No network connectivity problems between 2 DC's.
Verify that there is no tcp/ip filtering enabled on a servers or some kind of wrong configured firewall/packet filtering router sitting between those 2 DC's.

Hope it will help.

There is not network connectivity problems. These are two servers directly connected to each other via a hub. There are no other computers on the network at this time. When we attempt to "force replication" it indicates that there is a problem with the DNS, but we cannot seem to figure out what the problem could be. The second DC is listed in the DNS of the fist DC, but something seems to be missing that is needed for replication. It did work for a few minutes, until we added DHCP and RAS to the first DC, then replication stopped.

Thank You

Its not done anything daft like, had its IP changed by the DHCP?
