second call while use reserve_last_ca=

Hello,

the following problem apears bij using CA buttons and the RESERVE_LAST_CA=.

When we program only 2 CA buttons on 5410 users and we use the RESERVE_LAST_CA= in the source number, it will work for a while, after a view days the second call appears on the second CA button.

Busy on Held is "ON" and call waiting is "OFF"

this happans when i use user profile, altough it als happens when there are no user profiles at all.

Tried this on 3.2.54 an 4.0.7 core software.

Anybody got a solution?

In 4.0.7 the RESERVE_LAST_CA= is a selectable option in the users telephony settings and it should not be in the source number list.
 
I know it an option in 4.0.7 but it stil doesn't work in 3.2.X as well in 4.0.X.

I still get calls on the second CA button presented while having a call on the first CA
 
try typing RESERVE_LAST_CA=1 in v3.2

in v4.0, erase this line in source numbers and only use the checkbox
 
I tried only the check box in 4.0. It give's the same problem. I'll try the RESERVE_LAST_CA=1 in 3.2
 
I am using a IPO 500 4.0.7 with 5410 & 5420 from release 4.0.1106 without any problem regarding the appearance keys.
 
same here...I never had problems with the reserve_last_ca on 3.2 or 4. Did it work in 3.2 (reserve_last_ca=1) and are you sure there are only 2 appearance keys? (they must be on position 1 and 2)
 
The last digit in the string RESERVE_LAST_CA=1 has no meaning and will be ignored by IP Office.
There must be another reason for waiting calls, are yuo sure the calls are waiting against the second appearance key?
Did you trace the situation with a sysmon trace?
There is a filter on the apearance keys but be carefull, it will generate a lot of information you better do it after hours.
 
Yep I traced the call and the call waits again the second CA button. While reading and trying, the extensions on witch the problem appears are twinned with an IP Dect station maby here's a problem.
 
twinning is the problem

in the twinning tab you must have set up up 2 calls
make it 1 and your problem is gone

Yep, twinning is the problem (thanks tlpeter). but i need to shot down twinng to let the RESERVE LAST CA work.
