when the operator answer the first call,he hear the ring but when there is another incoming call while the operator is busy to the first caller,the operator cannot hear the ringing on second caller.
Do not mix operator usage with digital set. Most companies(especially small capacity) want to give operators some other jobs near being an operator. They want to use operators as secretaries, receptionists etc. In those cases we offer digital phones with ACD definitions.
In your case, on operator display there is a notification that shows how many people waiting on the queue.
