SECC42 on Intel CoreDuo processor

Have anyone tried or successfully installed SECC42 with windows2000 on an Intel PIV core duo machine?

I'm trying to install it but the SECC42 services are not coming up, i'm suspecting the coreduo machine...

We found that we could not install the classic SCCS client on the very late model pc's: either too much memory or the core duo issue. Where the pc had too much RAM (2mb) the client would work when we reduced the RAM to 512mb - but that's counterproductive overall. We ended up installing the Web Client in place of the classic client.
