I ran a cleanup on a friend's machine (had vundo, or some variant) which was showing WinFixer popups... and I was able to fix it.

However, he is telling me that his wireless connection is dropping out on him. Then I remembered seeing the below entry (I got this from a web page, but I'm pretty sure this is exactly how it showed on his machine)

O20 - Winlogon Notify: Sebring - C:\WINDOWS\system32\LgNotify.dll

Is this a legit file?

Might want to check power properties. UPS will turn off certain devices after the system becomes idle. Also the program itself for the wireless might have an option for turning off at a certain time. Something else ive experience in the past when helping a company with there wireless certain isp companies have the tendacy to kill the connection when people are networking it at big places. Why they did it I dont know for I was never told but we went through about 5 us robotics wireless modems before finally discovering it was the isp killing the connection. Had a talk with them and it never had a problem after that. Anyways might try some of these see if it helps.

BadBigBen... Thanks for the link. The "Sebring" part threw me, thanks for confirming that it's OK.

electronicsfreak... Good idea about the power settings. I usually change those to not let the computer turn off the device, but forgot to in this case. I'll try that next.

I can imagine... at first I thought it was a wierd one aswell, the Sebring I know, makes parts for motorcycles... not Software...

CastleCops is a good site for cross checking unknown .exe and .dll's... glad I could help...
