Does anyone know how to get rid of Search miracle pop-ups? We have it running rampent through the network since yesterday morning. I have already done a clean install of the MD's laptop and still it appears. I have run HijackThis (see log below) but i cant see where the pop-ups are coming from.

Any help much appreciated.

Try killing that line and then run two spyware programs to see if they pick anything up.

If key is being restored something is still lurking about.

Ok, I think i have it fixed, but only time will tell. I killed the line in HijackThis, then rebooted to Safe Mode. Once in there, i seacrhed for the file, found it and deleted it. Checked the registry and deleted it from there again and rebooted as normal. So far it appears that the pop-ups have stopped (approx 10 mins)... but only time will time.
