Hi Guys

Is it possible to search for a particular word in the text of a number of word documents in a number of folders on a network drive and have Lotus Notes R5 return the a search with the search text (word) highlighted.

And does anyone know of where I can get a free book to download on Lotus Notes R5.

Thanks
tee

You could attach all the documents to a Notes document in your mail, FTS-enable your mail and do a search afterwards, but I think your admins might have a conniption fit ;-).
You could roll up your sleeves and program a recursive search from a given folder level that could reach all *.doc files, but you have no search options from there. Unless you want to program a search yourself.
You could also use the above recursive code to open all Word docs and probably pilot a search from there, but I wouldn't bet on it.
Doesn't the Office bar have a search tool handy ?

Pascal.
