Im searching the tcpwrapper bynaries for SCO 5.0.5 installation.
¿ Where I can find it ?.

Are the tcpwrapper good for this job?. Do yo know any other program/utilitie that can do the same?.

Thank you.

If you have the SCO OpenServer Development System installed you can just download the source (tcp_wrappers_7.6.tar.gz) and follow the instructions in the README. It takes about five minutes.

If not, post your email address and I can send you a copy of the binaries. Annihilannic.

I don't have the Developpment System.
Can you send me a copy of the binaries files for the SCO 5.0.5 at these e-mail : soporte@ibiza-at2.com

Thank you for your time .

I'm sending those to you now Fonso.

To achieve what you want you will need to copy the binaries (all of the executable files) to /etc, and modify /etc/inetd.conf as described in the README.

Then create /etc/hosts.deny containing:

[tt]telnetd : ALL[/tt]

... and /etc/hosts.allow containing:

[tt]telnetd : 1.2.3.4[/tt]

... where 1.2.3.4 is the IP address you want to allow. You will need to add a similar line for each protocol (ftpd, etc.). Annihilannic.

Thank you for your amabitilie.
Im going to install it now.
