Searching MS Word Field Codes in Livelink

Hello:
We have several Word documets that contain field codes that are inserted by our Reference Manager Application. Is there anyway to include field code txt in Livelink Queries. I am just interested to know if there is an existing default index region code i.e. OTVerCDate: "20061108", that I could use to target field codes in my queries.
