Hi, can anyone help?

One of our users has deleted a directory, normally I can restore these using the salvage command (on a netware 5.1 cluster server running a NSS volume) unfortunately the sub directory isn't on the list, I suspect he moved the directory and then deleted it! is there a way to list all the salvagable files in a list? I'm using an NSS volume on Netware 5.1.

Our backup failed so I can't restore from that!...

Any thoughts?

When directories are deleted, the files go into the hidden folder \DELETED.SAV. You can check there but your folder structure will be lost.

If there is not a \deleted.sav\ folder on the volume, you're out of luck.

Do you know for sure that it was deleted and not just moved with an accidental click and drag? I'd be checking in other folders to see if that happened.
