I have a listbox with 2 columns. One column contains numeric data and the other contains text. I have over 100 records in the listbox. Searching through the listbox can be a pain. I want them to be able to type in a textbox the value their looking for and have it automatically selected in the listbox. Any kind of help would be appreciated.

Vanuta:

A combo box might be a better solution here if you set the AllowAutoCorrect to yes. Then, as the user types in the first few letters (or numbers) Access will try to match a value from the source.

I would suggest hiding the first column (assuming the number data is the key field) by setting its width property to 0".

Hope this helps.
