Hi.

Is there a way to to find which documents have a link to a particular document?

Thanks.

Me transmitte sursum, Caledoni!

What application are you talking about ?

The only link that is automatically recorded is the Parent link when a document is a Response. That can be found in the $Response field.

Anything else is either designed into the document by a programmer - and therefor has a field reference - or has been added to the document by a user in a Rich Text field.

You could create a script to check the RT field of a document for links. LScript can add them, so there is no reason you cannot go and check on them.

I do not know of any existing code for that - but there is plenty of code for accessing attachments, so you should be able to modify something to get you where you need to be.

Pascal.

I've got nothing to hide, and I'd very much like to keep that away from prying eyes.

Thanks, Pascal.

That's helps. I'll look for that.
