searching for field in FM 8.. how ?

Hi,

I am trying to find out how a particular field for example 'tax1' is being calculated in report... I opened the package in FM 8 and try to use search button.. even after selecting the parent levels in all 3 combo boxes.. and providing the search string 'tax1'.. it did not came up with anything...

I had to go through manually check individual fields..

any idea.. or how should I have searched?

are you sure the scope was set appropriately for hte search? it should work just fine. i have used it many times. never had a problem.
