used to be instant. Now the find buton just comes up as searching and nothing is resolved.

Hi - We recently lost our network path to our Lotus database on our Windows 2000 server. Our DHCP server was having problems so it was reset from a 10.0.0.1 scope to a 192.168.1.1 scope (this reflected our new broadband router settings). All computers are now on the network again and we are connecting instantly to the Lotus database. Only problem is the search function refuses to complete, and even arranging our contacts in alphabetical order just sits there tring to complete but nothing resolves. In the end we have to cancel (the application doesn't hang).

The only change from before was the scope - do I have to reflect the changes somewhere on the Lotus database for these simple functions to work again? Again connecting to and scrolling the database is fine.

Many Thanks.

I would suspect you have a corrupt index on at least one database. Try comopressing them all to see if that helps. Also check for a file of type .OYZ in the folder with your databases. If one is there, let me know and I can help you get rid of it.
