Searching Columns in WSS using Portal Server

Hi All, I got sharepoint portal server 2003 installed, and I got a WSS site , I would like you the advance search in sharepoint to search the WSS site columns to return all documents that matches the criteria I set, but I cat seem to get any results using the advance search, maybe I am missing a step, what I did so far is go to sites from the portal and added the wss site, and then attempted to use the advance search,

Any help will be appreciated, thanks.
