How can I create a query which will search by date range. I have used the wizard along with

BETWEEN #[Enter Start Date]# AND #[Enter End Date]#

To attemp this but I am brought to a new windo which says select search and there is an empty cell. Where do I go from here?

Try dropping the Pound signs. Also, between probably works, but I tend to use >=[Start Date] and <=[End Date]

Would that enable me to have a search for a date range which is not a predefined query. I'd like to be able to have and input box whereas one would be able to determine ones own specific range of dates to be found. Thanks

Yes. The query would ask for user input at the time it is executed.

Further, if you made a form, and called it "MyForm" and had two unbound text boxes, both set to standard date format, one called from, and the other called to, you could have the user fill out the form instead, and under critera for the query use:

>=Forms!MyForm!From and <=Forms!Myform!To

Often, this approach looks and feels a bit nicer.
