Searching a Database on the Web

I have a genealogy database. My question is, can I search this database on the web by entering a surname and then have all matches displayed on the page? If so what steps do I need to take to make this possible?

Are you creating a WEB page and using an Access database?

The best way which gives you a high degree of control is to build an ASP page and then access the database using ADO.
