Can we please have one problem per thread please.
Gromaire - Sorry, haven't got a clue. Have you tried approaching Sybase directly?
Gringaus - you may want to post you problem into the Sybase:SQL Server programmer's forum, there may be somebody there who can help you. However, I have not ever heard of a way of encrypting data.
Could you not put the data into a different table with very tightly restricted select privilages?
