Search through DTS files, for certain keywords...

I was given the gim task of searching through the DTS packages, for the useage of certain columns and or keywords, so that I can get a list of DTS files use that certain column or keyword...

Now, I just went through this with all of the stored procedures we have, using a user defined function to go through all of the files searching for a keyword, but have no idea where to start on how to search through the DTS...

Any help will be nice! Thanks!!!!!

You can save each DTS package as a VB package, .bas (Package - Save As), put them all in one folder and then just search through the folder using your normal file search for any files containing the keywords. Don't know whether that's quick enough for what you want though, seems a bit fiddly.
