search query in frontpage

I have a Frontpage website on Linux server.
I would like to create a search query that would search a excel database that I would update daily.
The database name is "Stock" and has the following fields:
Part Number
Mfr
Qty

Any suggestions ? I am a novice programmer.

I didn't know Excel was a database system. I thought it was a spreadsheet.
