Search Page

I have created a search page for my site using the standard search page template available in FrontPage 2000, however it only ever returns a match if the search text appears in one of the Word or PowerPoint files available in the site, never just for a normal page.

The support documentation seemed to imply that FrontPage automatically created an index for all of the pages in the site.

Any suggestions?

Question: Are your Word and PowerPoint files in a subweb? The search component only searches an entire web. If you have a subweb, you need a second search page.
