I have a form and it holds all customer information. There are 48,000 customers. The user wants a button that when they click it, a form pops up and you can select which customer to view. This then needs to go to the record on the first form, not filter.

The 2 forms are frmCust and frmCustSearch.

Thanks

What have you tried so far?

I got it figured out. at least a work around.

Code:
DoCmd.OpenForm "frmCust", acNormal
DoCmd.GoToControl "CompID"
DoCmd.FindRecord [Forms]![frmCustSearch]![Company], acEntire, 0, acSearchAll, 0, acCurrent, 1
DoCmd.close acForm, "frmCustSearch"

Not really sure if the is the most efficient way. let me know what you think and if there is a better way. This works for now though.
