Search On A Form is very slow

All, I have access 2007 with some linked tables to Oracle (using microsofts odbc connection).

When searching for a record on a form (Control + F), it runs very slow. This is also true when using the navigation button to go to the next record?

Any ideas on how to get it speeded up?
