search mapped drive over vpn?

Hi all,

Have a client that is running XP Pro. Connects to Win 2003 Standard server via VPN PPTP.

Have mapped a drive to one of the server folder shares. The user has tried to perform a search on the drive but it turns up no results. Even when there is a definate match.

Any ideas as to why this would happen?
