Search Macro not working, assets template** Version: 2007

Hey, so i have been working with the assets template given by Microsoft for the last while now, and have added a table and a few fields. As i was doing this, i realized to add fields to the search, go to the macro filters - > quick search section -> Assets table section, and then just copy a row paste it and change the field name in the brackets. But today, tried searching something and nothing came up. I went and looked through everything, it looked fine, then i realized the fields that wont search are the related fields(foreign keys) to the assets table from the contacts[Owners] and from suppliers[Vendor], They are also the fields that you can pull down and select a value from the other table in via combo box.

It seems that they wont search!!

Can somebody please help?!? (i'm desperate as it is vital to the completion of my project)

I haven't looked at the template but I suspect the fields you are having trouble with are Lookup Fields. That is because you are searching on what you think is in those fields and not what is really there. Here's a good article on Lookup Fields.
