Search in Phone Manager ?

Hi all,

I have a customer who would like to have a better search option in Phone Manager (and Soft Console) Right now if you have a name "Jimmy Lerche" i the Directory and you search for "Lerche" - you get nothing. You would have to know that you look for "Jimmy Lerche" Am I the only one who think this "feature" could be MUTCH better!

If you are looking for last name search, you would have to re-enter all the users names in manager starting with last name first. I dont think there is any other way.

Yes ... but then again ... if I can't remember the last name ... it would be nice to search the first name.It can´t be that hard for AVAYA to program this.

What if you can't remember the name at all. How would Avaya repair that?

It appears that the little IPO will grow and grow as more and more functionality is built into it. There is a difference between Euro and American phone handling. Since IPO is crafted in England the operations is euro biased in functionality.

I suppose that a better search feature is taken for granted here in the US. How about those of you in Europe? What kind of search features are you used to?

Yes ... im my mind there is a big difference between europe and the US. I would suppose that the IPO is the same all over the world ? Saing that I suppose that we have the same(lack)of search features on PMP and SC.
