I've got this weird issue with word xp on a PC running win xp: When using the search function (File - Search), right after entering the text and clicking on the "search" button, Word starts to search and displays very quickly a new window (it flashes so quickly, as when installing programs, that one gets dizzy when looking at it). As far as I can read, the little window says that it is importing tmp files from the user's local settings folder.
Now, I tried unselecting everything from the folder "Documents and Settings" in the "Search in" list, but the problem is still there, as if the Search function doesn't take into account the locations I select.
Unfortunately I can't attach here a print screen... does anyone have experienced the same problem???
