Search function possible on local drive?

A visitor should be able to search the contents on a specific directory structure, ie. D:\share\public
In a form they should be able to search like the search function under the START-menu in Windows after files. If you for instance type LIV and hit SUBMIT button, the result should be the files that contains the LIV string.

Is it possible?
