i wanna build a search engine from browse box.
i have a list of customers in browse box and one entry field
for search. when i start to type for example "Eig" in entry field that result in browse box show me the customer who surname is "Eigner".

here is the picture what i want to do. hope you could understand me.

Thanks a lot!

sorry for my bad english!

Hi!

Assuming that the Surname is the first column of the key used for that browse, go to Browse Properties -> Default Behavior -> Locator and set it to ENTRY and then choose the Entry control you have populated on the window in "Override default Locator Control".

Regards
