Okay, I have read numerous documents, web sites, and searched through all of the posts in this forum, but can't find a good enough answer. I don't even know if this is possible.
I would like to create a web-based form to search an index of PDF files. The index is created and all users would be able to access it. If I could code a check for the index and add it if it's missing, that would be great too. The simple form needs to have a text box and a submit button. The text is taken from the box and the index is searched upon clicking the button.
Can this be done via HTML/JS? If not, I've created the form in PDF, but I need to know how to tell the Submit button action to use the text in the text box, rather than just open the Query (aka Ctrl+Shift+F).
Thoughts? Thx,
DreamerZ
